Toyota Celica tire size

Asked by Feb 26, 2019 at 08:49 AM about the 1998 Toyota Celica GT Coupe

Question type: General

Can I put 205 60 15 tires on my 98 Toyota Celica GT coupe that is supposed to have 205 55 15? There are more choices and lower prices on the 60's. The 55's are hard to come by. Thanks.

The difference in diameter isn't a lot. It will just make your speedometer read about two mph slower. The change will work well.
