I'm just wondering if a 1997 Toyota Camry v6
transmission.will fit on a 1995 Toyota Camry v6.

No, two totally different operating systems, the 95 is the old Toyota OBD1 system and the 97 is OBD2, now it most likely will bolt up but no way to control it unless you spend a bundle and install one of those stand alone transmission controllers and then adjust it meet your driving habits. My advise is either replace it with used warrantied used unit and then sell the car, or bite the bullet and overhaul or replace the tranny with a new unit.
