Car is running rough after what sounded lime a small backfire.

Asked by Sep 09, 2017 at 01:59 PM about the 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix GT

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I left home for work and stopped for gas. When I returned to the car and
started it, I heard a small backfire and had to start car again. It started but
runs rough, and, not sure if it is related, but, the brake pedal started feeling as
if power booster also went out at exactly the same time. What is wrong with
it? I haven't tried anything because I don't know where to start.
