How do I remove the dogbone bracket from over the headbolt to remove the head?

Asked by Jun 11, 2017 at 02:18 PM about the 1995 Pontiac Grand Prix 4 Dr SE Sedan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 95 pontiac grand prix with a blown head gasket and I am down to
removing the heads; however the bracket for the dogbone on the passenger
side is covering a head bolt. Do I need a special tool to get it out of my way? or
do I have to remove the entire bracket to get to the head bolt?
