What kind and where do I put coolant stop leak at in my grand am?

That depends on what your trying to stop from leaking, bar's leak or alumina seal works for most small leaks like heater cores and small holes in the radiator, but if your trying to seal a head gasket just forget it, nothing works as it claims. As with all sealers it is only temporary, they are designed to get to too where you can fix the problem, not something permanent.

As far as where to put it just take loose the top radiator hose and drain out enough to add the sealer, usually the hose full is enough and put it back on start the engine and refill the cooling system.
