I had the antenna replaced on my 2004 lexus sc430. Now the antenna only goes all the way up during AM stations and 3/4 on FM stations. Is this normal? I never noticed this before.

I went back and they said that's the way it operates. I have had this car since it was new and never noticed that. Not sure what else to do about it. Now FM sometimes cuts out under some bridges and under some gas station canapies. Aggravating.
