I have 2001 Lexus RX300 and the VSC and CEL went on after I had my car wash of the under carriage . Could that be rectified easily or do I have to replace VSC Sensors? And how do I Know which one to replace?

Thank you for responding to my question. But can you send me more info with a picture of where these sensors are, and how to disconnect them. That will be mostly appreciated. Thanks again.

But I did not get any error codes about the VSC when I went to AutoZone to check my engine light. The codes were P0171 and Another code related to F/A ratio being Lean. Does that mean that I have no problem with the VSC system even tho it's yellow light is on?

Exactly as you said Mr.genious. I changed the air filter and voila, the Check Engine Light went off after 20 cold starts. I'm very happy that I found your website. I will be calling on you if I encountered more car problems. Thanks again and I will def recommend your site to all my friends.

Guess what.... My VSC and Enginr light went back on. This time I think I have to clean the A/F sensor (MAF) as you said and see if that will do the trick. But I don't know where it is. Can you send me a pictorial of its location. Thanks.

I suffer from the exact same issue with our RX300. Did the thread starter come up with a solution?
