generally I flush the system with water and drain out all I can , then fill with straight anti freeze and after running it check the mix , should be a 50/50 mix for winter , they make a tester thingy with floating balls to test for proper mix . Coolant gets crap , corrosion & impurities just like oil and should be changed .
