Head Lights (hi and Lo)and Fog Lights dont work

Asked by rostar Mar 20, 2013 at 06:15 PM about the 1990 Lexus LS 400 RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

1990 LS400 No Headlights or Fog lights. When I turn the switch on the dash lights will dim as usual.
Blinkers work. High beam indicator does not work when high beam on. Tail lights work great. Lights
went out when I turned them on. Relay under hood checks out with OHM Meter. Fuses under hood OK.
Fuses in cabin are also OK...... Any ideas?

Hi beams are on a separate switch and they do not work in daylight mode. IE passing lights. So I am not sure why the fog, hi and lo do not work. I would think the high beam would work as it as seperate switch from the rotating switch. The high beams would work with the headlights and foglights turned off. Any other suggestions

I have a1997 Lexus LS400. and my headlights will not go out, when the car is turned off
