U have a brake light bulb in the rear that has gone bad and no longer lights up. That's your tail light failure indicator.

The owners manual for my GS300 refers to this light as the "on" indicator for the "traction Control System" or "slip indicator light" This system controls the slip of the driving wheels and the light comes on when the system goes off or you turn the system off. I hope this helps.
