Grinding noise

I have a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.7 and I
hit a large rock on the highway with my driver
front wheel and now there is this clunking
and when I speed up it sounds like a metal
on metal squeal

You broke something. I would have it Towed to a good front end shop for inspection and repair.
