engine cranks, but wont turn over.

Asked by Jan 11, 2017 at 08:47 PM about the 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4WD

Question type: General

So, my transmission started acting up, and I let it sit a while. It started, and
the engine was running fine. A week, and a half later it won't start at all. I
am confused as to why that is. Could after sitting that long it be the security
device just not allowing me to start the jeep up, and have to use it on all the
doors? I'm at work right now, and can't give it a shot at the moment. I will
later though, however. I just wanted to hear what anyone else has to say,
or thoughts about that. ahhh 1995 grand cherokee lorado by the way.
straight 6 4.0L. 4wd

What are the symptoms when you go to start it? Does it crank? Clicks? Did you check the battery voltage? Any lights lit up on the dash when it was running?
