What can I expect on a trade-in for a 2006 Civic LX manual trans. for another used car automatic

Asked by May 01, 2017 at 10:51 AM about the 2006 Honda Civic LX

Question type: Car Selling & Trading In

I have a 2006 Honda Civic LX, 68,000 miles, manual transmission, excellent condition. I can't feel my left foot, I'm 82 years old and need an automatic transmission now. So...I can either trade it in on a newer, but not new automatic transmission Honda or Hyundai or I can trade to lease but don't want the electronic gismos on  new cars. I also can't fit a bigger car into my garage, has to be same size as Civic LX. What to do??? I can't insert model number in your space. You don't show an LX

Trade in cost is around $5000, but the dealers will try to offer you around $3000 and try to steal it from you. I can't tell you what to buy. Maybe a friend can help you? I'd stick with a Honda over a Hyundai though. Find a nice used Civic with an automatic
