I have an 05 Chevy Silverado 1500 4x4 LT crew cab short
bed with a 5.3 lt V8 my transmission has gone out and no
one rebuilds them around were I live and was wondering if
I could swap it out with a 03s transmission any
suggestions

Should be the same trans. I'm more curious where you live that doesn't rebuild a 4l60e
