2005 Malibu Maxx

Asked by GuruCK798 Feb 28, 2019 at 06:15 AM about the 2005 Chevrolet Malibu Maxx LS FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2005 Malibu Maxx LS is using twice the usual
gas, clugs at stops and has reduced power and
acceleration.  No codes thrown. What could it be?

Then your going to have to have the vehicle live data scanned, it sounds like one or more sensors are sending a misread to the computer, as the computer sees the sensors change readings even though they are incorrect, it thinks they are good and won't set a code.
