Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2006 Corolla, have only changed ATF once and recently it started giving problems in changing of gears. it is delaying in changing from dear 1 to 2 and 3. Would dropping the pan and cleaning the filter be the solution?

No , hopefully you didn't miss or disturb anything when you first dropped the pan , the filter has such a wide surface area that it is rarely the problem , if your fluid is at the right level and you have problems then you should probably take it to a shop

like Mr. Chevy says, take it to a pro- MAYBE they can save it- if you do not have a mechanic you can trust, take it to the dealer-
