car doesnt want to idle after battery replaced

hi i have a opel corsa 2000 model after i replaced my battery my car doesnt
want to idle or if i drive a distance from home to work then i stop at work when
i leave to go and do work my car doesnt want to idle i drive fro 1km then it
idles again. what can the issue be. and does it have a computer box

So I guess you didn't use a preset saver tool before disconnecting the battery, so when th power is fully turned off the computer looses all of the setting it has learned from your driving, so now it has to relearn it all over again and that requires what is called the relearn cycle and it must be completed in one session, you start it and them stop. So you need to disconnect a battery cable and turn on the headlight switch, wait one minute, turn off the headlight switch then reconnect the battery, start the engine and drive for at least 20 minutes with all the accessories turned on, headlights radio heater defogger, etc. After that is done it should maintain a stable idle if nothing else is wrong, if it still won't stabilize then I recommend that the system be scanned, you may have a sensor that is malfunctioning.
