Is the transmission in a 1991 Chevy s10 and a 2001 Chevy
s10 the same to where i can swap them out??

4L60E 2001 transmission family 700R4 1991 transmission family sorry bud if automatic if manual TRANSMAXX T5CH (4L) 1991 manual transmission TRANSMAXX 290g-f if v6 1991 manual transmission TRANSMAXX 290H 2001 manual transmission doesnt look like it

u need the id tag on your transmission and its not to hard to replace gears on a manual transmission a manual transmission can be rebuilt with relative ease were as automatic u need presses for the clutch packs and wave rings
