Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Ww just purchased it's vehicle four weeks ago.
160k miles. I was told at the time of purchase that
the trans was was replaced three mo ths prior. So
about two hundred miles into our family vacation
the truck was running fine, pulled into a rest stop
stretched our legs and what not. Got back in the
truck, started up and idled just fine, soon as I
shifted into drive the truck stalls out. Same thing in
reverse. Change out the throttle body and the mass
air flow sensor. Same problem. I'm hearing it could
be the torque converter or something else in the
trans. Need some advise here.

Unfortunately not, however I do have him admitting that he had it replaced in text. Have you you heard of a trans replacement being done without replacing the torque converter? Especially with all the problems with the 4L60E on this vehicle?

I have no idea what was done to your truck. Get the name of the shop that did the work from the seller. Maybe they will honor the warranty.
