How do you book Market Value on a vehicle?
I have noticed on multiple occasions that the market value of the vehicles I
have advertised are being displayed well below book. This vehicle is just an
example. 2004 F-150 Lariat Supercrew yes there is nearly 200k worth of
miles but NADA which is exclusively used by our lenders (our market) to
determine loan amounts. reads $12,175. KBB reads $10,143.
On what market are you getting $9,000?
the market from california on a 2 wheel drive pickup is different than the
market on the exact vehicle in Idaho. What market are you using?
Guides are guides, no absolutes. KBB is always lower than NADA, and most dealership will use the lower number for your trade in. Ultimately the truck is worth what someone is willing to pay for it. This is a public forum BTW. Click on contact us at the bottom of the page to get an answer from someone at Cargurus.
