Hi Guys so i just bought a $400 eclipse
gst. Body is in good condition. The only
problem on this car is the engine needs to
be swap and the convertible top is ripped.
I got a quote for engine $600 with labor it
has 135k miles on it. Should i just sell the
car and buy a running one or go with the
engine swap?

$600 for an engine and labor is a very good price. Are you sure the engine is in good shape, not a blown head gasket or rod knock? I would do it if everything is good.

They all need work by now, if you like it do the swap. Need to know the history behind the swap motor, or comes with a warranty.
