Question type: General

I have a 96 jetta 2.0 5sp wondering if I
bought a 99 jetta 5sp I'd be able to use that
for the clutch and other parts or do I need to
find a 98 or older

Looks like there the same at least to 1999. I only looked at the same model vehicle.

Ok yea it's the same car besides the year Or do I spend the same money on a 04 jetta vr6 For my 96 and swap it

All my 96 need to drive is the clutch, wheel bearing and hub assembly...so I guess if I can just use the parts from the 99 jetta I'll go that route just so I can get it back on the road in a timely manner haha
