Shop at better Online Car-Sales or In-Person Shops. Example: Cars.com; ford.com; ramtrucks.com; Facebook Marketplace; Your Local Ford Dealership (walk-in ) Your Local Chrysler-Jeep-Dodge-Ram Dealership (Walk-in); Make sure to do some research online prior to going to the dealer, know what you Want (Years, Makes, Models, Features, Extras, Prices, The Worth of the Vehicle(s) You’re looking to buy, know your Trade-inValue Of Your Trade [Based on it’s mileage, Wear and Tear, Rust if Applicable, It’s Driving Conditions [Salt, Winters, Saltwater], Broken or Worn Parts, Maintenance History preferably with Documentation/Proof of Services Preformed, how many owner’s, Upgrades done to it, etc etc], understanding the Dealer, knowing their reputations, know their ratings, prepare to get a fair deal once you’ve done all these things and really do your homework. These are tried and tested truths. If you do your research on Your Own Vehicle, Run your own Credit know your ratings, Research the dealers and their ratings, be honest with yourself and about your trade in (if you have a 6, 8, 10, 18, 20 year old trade in with no paperwork to show maintenance, multiple owners, with wear and tear, your vehicle isn’t going to be worth the maximum top end amount of the spectrum of trade in or cash value) know your trade!!! Be reasonable, lowball yourself!! Know your dealer staff, they have a reputation good or bad, and they have online records on social media, read that! If you’re broke, with little to no credit; don’t expect 2020 Hellcat or 2016 Ram 2500 on 44” Super Swampers with the Cummins Turbo Diesel. Know your situation. Be honest with Yourself!!! Don’t hype yourself up for a Maserati or a Porsche with 1997 Ford Windstar Credit, Job History, and Trade Value combined!! Then again if you have a 10 year career, 720 credit score, make $50-$100k a year, and you have a low mileage trade in pristine condition, you gotta watch yourself too. Because you’ll be approved for almost every truck or car, and they’re gonna tack on $6500 worth of extras and warranties and shit you don’t need because of what/who you are. They love people like you. Go get em Tiger!!
