Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So a few weeks ago my 2007 by
dakota started acting like it
didnt want to shift right. Then I
noticed it would eat gas faster
than usual. Now just this past
weekend I was cleaning out the
inside so I had the doors open
for a good amount of time, but I
also made sure to start it and let
it run for a little while also. Well
later on I went back to start the
truck again and now it won't
even turn over anymore. Does
this sound like a normal power
issue like the battery, starter, or
maybe the alternator? Or does it
sound like something else is
going on?
