Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have 04 envoy v6 . I bought it and was driving it home all
was good until about 5 miles down highway bam was like I
was in neutral. Pulled over let sit checked codes and p0132  
code and p0849 came up. Cleared them hoping this would
help, started it up and started driving again. Got about a
couple hundred yards and bam nothing again.  No gears
working , if I let sit a little bit it will move a little then it's like
it shifts itself into neutral again.

It shoulds like your car is going into a limp mode of sorts to prevent transmission failure, p0849 is your trouble code it's a transmission fluid pressure sensor/switch, I would look into replacing the sensor and seeing if that fixes your problem, that code could come up as a sensor failure or it could be a internal mechanical problem causing the code to pop up
