Starting problem

I have a 2002 1.6i mazda rustler,  when I start(turn the key)
it clicks(starter motor) then starts after few tries, starter
still new, I checked, cleaned and tightened neg & pos
cabling and the battery is still okay, what can be the
problem?.

If starter is new sound,s like a bad silienoid.

starter might be new but has a bad sillinoid, also when you try starting it turn the key fast a few times if it starts that way its not your starter its a pully thats not turning and allowing the belt to turn with.
