Probably, the Lexus ES. It's a little longer and narrower than the Volvo S60, but it's at the same price point. Lexus has an excellent reputation for quality cars and customer service and it's reputation has not diminished. Volvo has been good too, but the future of the S60 is, I believe, questionable. The S60 comes off an assembly line in China; and that might be a problem. It's a new manufacturing venue in a country that has not been producing cars for the West for long. The good might be that Volvo should be standing behind the car and they have a good reputation for customer service as well. I personally will not buy any car that is assembled in China, at least until they have proved that this is a reliable source and that consumers won't be suffering from assembly problems or politics.
