Question type: General

Can I still finance a vehicle even if I buy it off

Yes. That is how many private sales are completed. You will need to apply with your bank or credit union which will require the VIN number of the car. The bank will cut a check in the seller's name for the purchase. Call your bank.

depending on your credit score and your financial institution, yes, you can finance a vehicle that is purchased from a private party. I would recommend talking to your bank or credit union before you shop. also, if you are purchasing from a private party, get a carfax report.
