Can I still finance a vehicle even if I buy it off
a private party and if so can I use my own
financial company?

Yes. That is how many private sales are completed. You will need to apply with your bank or credit union which will require the VIN number of the car. The bank will cut a check in the seller's name for the purchase. Call your bank.

You can finance a vehicle purchased from a private party by applying at any lending institution of your choice. The seller might have to wait a couple of days longer to complete the sale, but a healthy down payment should help. An added advantage to financing is to have the transaction completed at the lender; they'll cover everything.

depending on your credit score and your financial institution, yes, you can finance a vehicle that is purchased from a private party. I would recommend talking to your bank or credit union before you shop. also, if you are purchasing from a private party, get a carfax report.
