Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Does a 2012 Ford Edge Limited, with a 2.0 L Eco boost engine have a timing
belt or a timing chain and when should you replace it?

Your engine has a chain. Timing belts have a replacement schedule. Chains are designed to last the life of the engine unless there another fault, like a tensioner, guide, or sprocket, that causes the need to replace the chain.
