Key will not start car, no electical working, clicking from fuse box

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

All of a sudden my car will not start.  The red blinking security light still flashes; however, the key will not lock, unlock the door, windows will not open, can not move from park.  When the car door is closed, one can hear a clicking noise coming from the fuse park inside of the engine housing.  Any ideas?

Did anyone try to start/open your vehicle with a different key fob? How many master keys do you have? are they all link/programmed to the vehicle?

This just happened to my 2007 GS 350 with 172,xxx miles on it. The alternator went out and in the process blew a fuse box.

Yes alternator can cause this issue. But in my situation I found that it was moisture coming in and corroded the bcm modules in floor. Their are some on both sides at the side of footwell. Used electrical spray to clean the male and female connections.

I'm having the same issue. Did you ever find a solution to your problem?

No, I did not. The car was eventually able to be unlocked and started. I have not had the issue since.
