just bought 2005 w 50k miles

Question type: General

runs great but when i get gas, it doesnt start up like usual and need to push
on gas pedal in order for it to start.  I think it had run out of gas at one point
and air got in the carbon.  is there an additive i can put in the gas tank to fix
the problem.

You shouldn't need to push the accelerator to get it to start. Can I assume the check engine light is on? If you suspect it ran out of fuel, I would have the whole fuel system cleaned by a professional and have the rest of the systems checked out. It's a Porsche, not a Dodge, treat it right.
