Do some youtube video searches for (vacuum leaks).
check all the rubber hoses, but could be a gasket, A smoke test is the best way to find a vacuum leak. EC above mentions youtube, you can find plenty of videos on how to do it cheaply with an hand air pump and cigar to taking it to a mechanic.
A dirty or bad Mass Air Flow sensor will do this. You can clean or replace it easily. See https://www.youtube.com/watch? v=paidfR2A4t0
