2010 Dodge Ram 2500 Power Wagon trailer brake issue

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Bought truck in Washington and drove it thru Canada in temps down to -30
degrees arriving at home in Houston, Alaska  ust before Christmas 2019. No
problems on the drive other than finding out that the right side washer fluid
line became disconnected under the hood. This morning when we left home
with temp of -24 degrees, the trailer brake indicator started flickering and
making a clicking sound. It soon stopped. We did our errands and came
home. Pulled in the garage and when we shut the truck off the trailer brake
indicator again started flickering and making the clicking sound. Now it won't
stop.  Other than maybe draining the battery is there anything else this could
affect? We do intend to tow multiple sizes and types of trailers in the future
but have not connected a trailer to this truck yet. Any suggestions?
