Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Code reader said it was the throttle positioning sensor .
The car ran rough then yesterday after an hour trip stop working .
turn it over its not firing up . i open the throttle valve and turn over and the
battery dies. I thought a spray of starter fluid would help check but nothing .
I have a hot battery could it be the fuel pump also ? can the position sensor
be shorted ?
