Question type: Maintenance & Repair

a small 3yo child fell against my car and the end part of my side skirting fell off,
ford say i'm liable even though the car was brought 2 months ago, second hand
off of them, as its not designed for this accident. I think it shouldn't break that
easily.
They want £400 to fix. 2017 plate

The parents of the child are liable for the damages. File a claim with your insurance company. They will go after the child's parents to get their money and your deductible, if any, back. Did you file a police report? You should have! Hope that helps! Jim
