2007 Subaru Impreza battery light flickering on and off

Asked by Oct 15, 2019 at 02:44 AM about the 2007 Subaru Impreza

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Why does my battery light keep flickering on
and off only when at speeds of 70-80km and
above, under them speeds it rarely happens.
I’ve checked battery and it is at 12.9-13.5v
and also checked terminals for tightness and
corrosion and they pass!

Sounds like the alternator is going out. Stop at a car parts store and have it checked.
