fuses and wires

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

After looking at back of fuse panel
found wires undone. I tried to get hi
beams to work but now no lights
No dash lights no engine turnover
nothing workin but running and tail
lights

ya the battery is under the back seat, so is the regulator, had one catch fire, cause the seat bottomed onto the battery, the regulator was malfunctioning. in all had 26 BEETLES over the years and can say cute, but troublesome, the #3 cylinder overheats, because the oil cooler is mounted above it, the Thermostat is a joke cause the air-jacket leaks most of the time~ and what does it do, but restrict air flow which you Need in an air-cooled situation~ had electrical fires to, tho think it's keen to listen to the radio with no key in that~ my advise assure the GROUND to the Frame and near the starter is intact~
