Alternator makes noise when in park.

I recently had my alternator/battery/serpentine belt replaced by a shop and I
noticed that the car runs fine for now but when I start in the morning I can
hear the belt spinning unusually loudly while in park. When I put it in drive it
seems to go away and I cannot hear it when I am moving. I took it to another
mechanic to check out the installation job and he said everything looked
good to him but I am concerned about why it may be louder than the one I
had replaced. Can anyone help me?
