truck & trailer lights

Asked by juddsteP Jan 13, 2020 at 04:17 PM about the 2005 Ford F-250 Super Duty

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have 2 trucks; 1 is an 06 Ram 3500 and tow a 5th wheel trailer (carrying
goods). The lights on the trailer work fine with the dodge. I now have an 05
F250 but the same trailer lights won't work at all. I have tested the Ford and
the assembly seems fine (using a simple tester) and if i use a set of magnetic/
temporary lights with the f220, they work perfectly. the trailer lights are 4 pin.
all fuses are ok, grounding onto bare metal as well. i really don't understand
where the issue is.
