Starter/ignition problems

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I bought a used truck that had a toggle switch
installed.  I had it a couple weeks and the starter
went out replaced the starter drove it for about 2
weeks got in one morning to drive it to work drove
around the block stopped back at home ran inside
came back out and it was clicking like the starter
was out since i just replaced the starter i figured it
was the battery got a new battery put that in and
was still clicking like the starter was out
exchanged my starter for a new one installed it as i
did before now when i hit the button it acts like its
not getting power to the starter.  Whoever installed
the toggle switch has one wire that goes from the
switch to the batter and another wire that goes to
the starter.  Any ideas would be much appreciated
thanks.
