Asked by reverendodge Jan 20, 2020 at 08:53 PM about the 2001 Dodge RAM 1500

Question type: General

i have a 2006 commin 5.9 L 2500 that i want to put into a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 Club Cab Short Bed 4WD .
I know anything can be done but …
as I think about it I would have to put the tranny and rear end and motor from the 06 into the 01.. or is my thinking incorrect and is it really worth it?
