Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have replaced bulbs checked fuses and
relays, I’ve cleaned and tested the grounds
and still I’m having problems. My drives
low beam is out but high beam works, my
passenger low beam works but no high
beam, I have no blinkers in the front, in the
rear I have a blinker on the right but none
on the left, I have running lights all around
but I have no brake light in the left. I have
replaced all bulbs checked everything I can
think of, even changed the bulb housing in
the left tail light, still nothing.

On the Dodge are the headlights and turn signals all on the same switch or stalk? If so, I'd inspect the switch.

Yes but I’ve checked and it seems to be working, my dash says that the bulbs are out. Yet I’ve changed them, my flashers on the dash are blinking faster and I can hear the relay working

Then you have an open circuit in the Turn Signal/Brake light system, a wiring diagram will be needed to trace down the circuits, could be the same with the headlights but on a different circuit. Has the rig been altered or wrecked at some point in time that you of?

Then grab a wiring diagram, test light, ohm meter and start tracing circuits.

By any chance are you talking about the multifunction switch I think the lights are controlled by a relay connecting to the tail hitch.

No, that was ruled out when you said that they flash when turned on even though they flash fast. If it has a trailer tow package from the factory then yes it will have a relay box just for the trailer lights.

I have a 2004 dodge ram and I am having a hard time with it not starting all electrical with it and only has 20,000 miles and been sitting for two years.

If it been sitting that long then the fuel is fouled and most likely water I the tank also, if the battery isn't new then repalce it so you have full charge going in, all the fluids and filters will need to be changed out, humidity can wreak havoc with wiring, computers, switches and on and on. So grab your wire brush and some tools and start cleaning grounds, connectors, power cables, etc. Hopefully it was built early in 04 and the computers still and the condensers for keeping the factory preset alive or you might need to have it reflashed at the dealer. Can you get a flashout from the computer?
