how to charge a 2001 buick lesabre with a battery charger

Depends on the battery charger, if it is a low amperage unit say nothing over 4 amps you can hook it directly to the side posts red for positive black for negative, but if you going with anything higher amperage then hook the red to the battery positive and the black to a good engine ground like a hanger bracket. Just make sure the key is off and in your hand or pocket when hooking up or disconnecting either unit.
