Why does my car make a knocking sound?

Asked by Benjaminherrington Feb 11, 2020 at 04:47 PM about the 2007 Toyota Camry

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car makes a knocking sound at 50mph or faster. Sounds like the noise is
coming from the center of the car between driver and passenger seat. Could it
be in the driveline? I promise it's not the spare tire rattling in the truck because
the knocking persists even after I've removed the spare. I have replaced the
struts. Still the knocking persists.
