Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I got a 93 s10 2.8l v6 5 speed i changed the
tank today. The tank came outta a 4.3. Im
getting fuel clear up to the throttle body but
it will not stay running i gotta pump the hell
outta the pedal to keep it spiiting and
spuddering i was told the tanks are
compatible. It ran just fine before i changed
the tank. Now reason tank was changed was
cause my lines on sending unit just poured
fuel out them due to hole so with that being
said im stumpped i was told change the
throttle position sensor but why would it run
just fine before with a leak but now there is
no leaks it wont run any ideas what i did or
doing wrong? Ppl saying dirty filter well its
getn plenty of clean good gas to motor. I
dump a lil gas in the throttle body it fires but
if i dont pump the peddle it dies soon as it
burns gas up. I was also told the sensor
sending wrong  code to computer and thats
why i was told to get a new sensor. If
anyome can help me out that would be
