My Car Wont Start, Radio/AC/Lights went out on break.

Asked by Aug 23, 2019 at 08:59 PM about the 2007 Chevrolet HHR

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My Chevy HHR is wacky! Yesterday the left turn signal started to go SUPER
fast, had my BF check and the break light and signal on that side are not
working. Today the whole car stopped, on my way to work the radio/all
electric on the inside would go off every time I breaked, barely made it to a
parking spot, curiously, I check to see if the car will turn back on and IT
WONT. Anyone know what caused this? I recently had the front headlight
fixed and I think they screwed it up!

The turn signal problem is probably just a bulb or filament burned out; that makes the signal flash fast on one side to alert you. The rest of the electrical problem is probably due to a bad alternator. Have the alternator, battery and charging system checked.
