2007 ford five hundred

My car is not cranking properly it will crank
and when I go to the store I have to turn
they key several times before it will crank
again the radio and dash lights come on but
when I turn the key nothing happens what
can this be

Maybe worn ignition switch or lock cylinder, have it looked at before your stranded and need a tow.

Check your battery connection, my bmw did the same thing, the dash lights would come on but it wouldn't crank, the problem was the ground wire wasn't tight
