Car stereo problem

Hi I have A Ford Focus 56 plate which has a Sony
head unit in it which didn't work so I got a different
stereo which is just a CD player face off but me not
thinking I just cut the plug off the wiring which the
head unit fitted to and now I have no ignition can
some 1 help to me what the problem is thanks
