Audi A6 01222 passenger side airbag crash sensor (G180)

Asked by Paul Nov 25, 2019 at 05:06 PM about the 1998 Audi A6

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi there
My airbag light is on and it doesn't go even if I try
to erase it. The diagnosis gave me this error:
Error code: 01222 Crash Send. Side airbag
Sporadic: Short Circuit.
So it seems that I might have to replace the sensor
or at least check the wire, but I don't know where
this specific  sensor is located and how to remove
it. Can someone please help?
