Water in intake air manifold

Why is there water in my air intake
manifold

The air intake is the tube to the air filter and then to the engine. I suspect that's what you meant. Water can get into the air intake from particularly rainy weather, but that's not usually enough to cause problems as sensors will detect it. If the truck went though standing water, that could pour water into the intake and choak off air to the engine. From that you could get water into the manifold, and that can be a problem if it gets into the cylinders and the engine attempts to run with fluid in it.
